supercli-site/awesome-coding-plan
FinanceComparison tables of AI coding plans, API token prices and model value for developers choosing a coding subscription or API budget.
What it covers
AI coding costs are hard to compare because subscription plans (Coding Plan / membership) and pay-per-token API billing use different units. This repository separates them into domestic plans, overseas plans, per-token API prices, and a value ranking built from public Agent benchmark data. Each public price row links to the vendor's official pricing page and carries a verification date; unverified quotes stay out of the public tables.
The repository keeps structured data under data/ (plans and API prices) and renders the README tables from it. Readers can use the hosted comparison site or read the tables directly in the README.
How to use it
- Start from the hosted comparison site plan.supercli.site if you want a browsable view.
- If you are evaluating a specific subscription type, check the buying guide fact-check before choosing.
- To work with the data locally, clone the repo and run from the repository root:
pnpm install
pnpm check # validate the data
pnpm sync # pull the ModelGo ranking snapshot
pnpm check validates the data gate; pnpm sync refreshes the model ranking from ModelGo. Price data itself is manually verified, not auto-scraped.
Editing and contributing
Price rows live in data/plans.json or data/api-prices.json. Contributions should update the entry, bump verifiedAt, run pnpm check, then regenerate the README tables with:
node scripts/render-readme.mjs
See CONTRIBUTING.md for the full process.
Constraints
- Prices are human-verified and dated; they can go stale between promotions or vendor page redesigns. Check
verifiedAtbefore relying on a number. - Subscription quotas are often stated by vendors as requests or credits per window, not tokens; the tables transcribe those units rather than converting them.
- The value ranking comes from ModelGo / Artificial Analysis snapshots (137 model variants in the 2026-11-04 snapshot) and only rankings are auto-synced.
- Data and docs are under CC BY 4.0; ranking data rights belong to ModelGo and Artificial Analysis.
- The comparison includes purchase links to vendors; it is a research reference, not a purchase guarantee.
HotRepo's take
The repository crossed 100 stars shortly after creation and reached 190 by the end of the 2026-11-08 snapshot window, gaining 88 stars in roughly one day on the TypeScript new-project list. That jump is consistent with a practical comparison resource being shared among developers weighing plans, but the single-window snapshot does not establish a sustained trend. The interesting design choice is keeping prices human-verified while letting only rankings sync automatically — a reasonable split given how often vendor pricing pages change.
