Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of HotRepo (https://hotrepo.ai, the "Service"), operated by an individual developer based in Hong Kong SAR, China ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

HotRepo organizes public data such as GitHub Trending, publishes AI-written reviews of projects, and provides this data to AI assistants through an MCP service. Reviews are generated by AI from each project's public documentation and may be inaccurate or out of date; the project's own documentation prevails. The Service is provided "as is" and data may be delayed or incomplete.

2. Accounts and API keys

You sign in with your GitHub account and must meet GitHub's minimum age (at least 13). You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys: keep keys secret and do not share or publish them. If a key leaks, revoke it on your account page right away.

3. Plans and payment

The Free plan has daily usage limits. Pro is a subscription billed monthly in advance; its price and limits are those shown on the MCP page. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically every month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime under "Manage subscription" on your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again. See our Refund Policy. We will announce price changes on the site at least 30 days in advance; a period you have already paid for is not affected.

4. Acceptable use

Do not share your API keys or resell the Service; use multiple accounts or other means to get around usage limits; scrape the site or its APIs in bulk; disrupt or attack the Service or try to access other users' data; or use the Service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend keys or accounts that break these rules.

5. Content and intellectual property

The Service's software, design and reviews belong to us. You may use content you get through the Service in your own work, but you may not copy or republish reviews in bulk. Repository data belongs to its respective owners and is shown under GitHub's terms.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the Service; material changes will be announced on the site. You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email us.
