What it is

antislop is a set of agent skills — folders containing a SKILL.md and rules — installed into an AI coding agent to filter out generic UI, hollow marketing copy, and AI-shaped code before anything ships. It is deliberately not a style guide: it prescribes no colors, fonts, or layouts, and leaves visual direction to a DESIGN.md the user writes. The README states that antislop removes slop but cannot invent direction, and that a sterile result means the direction file was missing rather than the filter failing. The core contains 40 mandatory rules across three tiers (Hard Gate, Purpose-Gate, Quality Locks), a Liveliness Toolkit with ENERGY, RHYTHM, and MOTION dials, and a Delivery Gate that requires a PASS/FAIL report in four blocks. Six skills split the concerns: antislop (core filter), antislop-ui, antislop-copywriting, antislop-human (accessibility), antislop-layoutmobile, and antislop-code. Quick start

Requires Node.js 18+ for the npx installer. The recommended route asks which skills you want, whether to install for the current project or everywhere, and which agents you use, then copies the folders and writes the pointer that reloads antislop each session:

Other routes exist for specific agents: npx skills add miqdadbadjuber/anti-slop from the skills.sh directory, Claude Code plugin commands (/plugin marketplace add then /plugin install antislop@anti-slop), and plugin commands for Codex, Cursor, Antigravity, Cline, Kimi Code, Oh My Pi, and Pi. After installing, start a new agent session so the skills load. By default the agent asks at session start whether to run During (guide the work as it is built, then report) or After (audit existing work into a numbered findings list, then fix approved items and report). Save a preference once with npx antislop-ai --mode during (or after/ask); this writes ~/.config/antislop/settings.json on Linux/macOS or %APPDATA%\antislop\settings.json on Windows and applies to every agent and project. Constraints

• The npm package is antislop-ai; npx antislop installs a different package.
• Node.js 18+ applies to the npx installer; the skills directory, single-file paste, and per-agent plugins have their own routes.
• For UI work you intend to ship, the project treats a DESIGN.md as effectively mandatory; without it the output is labeled a draft without direction.
• antislop does not self-update, and plugins keep their own copy under the installing agent.
• The README warns that any coin, token, NFT, or fundraising using the antislop name is a scam; the project takes no donations.

That single daily record is the whole of the available time series here, so it supports a statement about one day's relative standing and nothing about a trend. The technical point worth carrying away is the split of responsibilities: the rules are a filter, and the visual direction is an external artifact the user supplies — a design choice the project states plainly rather than hides.
